I received this report from Sister Nakacwa Jane from Wakiso, Uganda.
Dear Brother Bill greetings to you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ son of God.
As the leader of the ministry here in Wakiso, I would like to report to you that 23 people were baptized at Pastor Mamoul’s Church on Sunday. The following topics were taught and people received them well in Jesus name.
- The promise of the holy spirit.
- The Apostles taught God raised Jesus from the dead.
- The significance of baptism in Jesus name to the believer.
Through this situation whereby we gathered in the tree shadows to have church. They (the people) are asking God for the construction of a building to meet in. The rain didn’t disturb us during the sessions, and it was not raining up to the baptism session. During the teachings some raised a question. “Why do you teach about only one type of baptism?” This was my answer. There is only one God, and I gave them these scriptures:
Sister Nakacwa Jane has now gone to 16 churches in the last 19 months, teaching them concerning the Apostles’ Doctrine and that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. Her and her husband, Pastor Edward have now baptized over a thousand believers in Jesus name.
Sister Jane also operates an orphanage in the Wakiso area.
The new converts in this region are in great need of bibles and support for the ministry.
